With one in five Australian adults experiencing a mental health related illness, and nearly half of all Australians experiencing some form of mental illness in their lives, the cost of mental health episodes in the workplace continues to rise.

In the September 2024 HR Perspective session, we provided a practical discussion on how to help identify indicators that may arise for employees who are at risk of experiencing mental or emotional distress.

The session was designed to help empower HR leaders and line managers equip their teams on best practice approaches to engage with and conduct discussions with employees and how best to implement early intervention strategies to mitigate harm and reduce impact on their teams and the broader work environment.

    Speakers:
    • Dominic Fleeton, Partner, K&L Gates
    • Sally Cooper, Director, The Sally Cooper Consulting Group

Western Australian practitioners - To add this session to your Legal Practice Board CPD Management System (CPDMS) record, please email your Certificate of Attendance and Practitioner ID to cle@klgates.com.
