The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) will soon be launching an affirmative action verification initiative. This new verification will likely require every federal contractor (25,000 of them) to verify annually through a sworn certification that they are fully compliant with affirmative action obligations.
During this one-hour webinar, Washington, DC Labor and Employment partner, Craig Leen, former Director of the OFCCP, highlights the verification initiative, what it would entail from a compliance perspective, how outside counsel could help companies comply, when and how the initiative will be rolled out, and what it portends for contractors in the next several years.
This is the first session in a three-part webinar series, where Craig will provide insights on potential pay data collection (part 2), and the potential for more litigation and enforcement actions (part 3).
